Where I’ve Been Lately – Holding My Warrior Pose

If you’re a regular reader, you may have noticed a lack of anything new lately. I wanted you all to know it’s because I am busy fighting and undergoing treatment for Pancreatic cancer.

I was diagnosed in February 2015, and it was quite a shock. For about three months previously, I had not been feeling right at all. I knew something was going on, so I underwent all kinds of test, until a CT scan showed the cancer, and it has travelled from my pancreas to my lungs. We found it because I refused to let it go. This may ultimately be what saved my life. If you feel that something is wrong talk to your doctor. You are worth it.

I’m now undergoing chemotherapy almost weekly. Which means I don’t have a lot of energy for other things, sadly including this blog. HOWEVER, I do intend to pick things back up as I feel able, maybe some different things, and I hope you will bear with me as I figure out what that means. That’s what’s cool about a blog, right? You can make it your own.

My family and I are determined to beat this, and we feel like this is just a blip in the road, just a pit stop. We are determined to get thru this together, and are hopeful for a good outcome! As I’ve been known to sat, we are determined to hand cancer its own ass!

I haven’t gone anywhere.

I invite you to read others posts here around the blog. I’ll be refreshing them a bit here and there.
