Preview Those Thanksgiving Recipes!

It’s not always a good idea to try new recipes out right on Thanksgiving. Better to make them at least once in advance. Either that, or I just like to make them twice because then I get to EAT them twice. This is only a good thing if the recipe is a good one. So choose wisely… which is why we test them out first. (See what I did there?)

Thanksgiving - It's Easier Than You Think

9. Try out new recipes ahead of time.

A reason to throw a party! You know, I think you could make a party out of this, like one of the other Evernote Ambassadors is doing. How fun to invite your friends over a week or two before the big day, and try out those recipes you’ve been eyeing? Do I need an excuse for a party? Yes. Yes I do. So pass the party hats.

Recipes I’m dying to try, or have tried so far:

Mini Herbed Pommes Anna (Bon Appetit) – So totally making this SOON. Potatoes? Thyme? Roasted? Yes.

Corn Pudding with Mushrooms and Ham (Bon Appetit) – LOVE corn pudding. It’s a sickness. A tasty, tasty sickness.

Pumpkin Pie - fresh from the oven!

Best Maple Pumpkin Spice Pie (SimpleBites.net) I actually HAVE tried this one, just a few days ago. So rich and tasty! You only need a tiny piece, and it’s not “too sweet” said the hubs. That’s high praise from a non-dessert eater. ;)

I’m wondering what you’re making? Are you trying something new?
