Evernote Food 2.0: My Favorite Three Features

So when I went out to visit the Evernote World Headquarters recently, I was SO EXCITED when I saw the newest Evernote Food. I thought I might die of anticipation. Then today, BOOM, there it was as an update on my phone. Good news is, you can do it too.

My favorite thing about it? Um, everything. I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it when I first downloaded it. Then, when this update came along, um, let’s just say I was jumping up and down. Seriously. This version is much prettier, and has some awesome features. Here’s my three favorites:

Fab Find: Great Food Fast (Everyday Food)

Can I make Sloppy Joes without an envelope of powder?

Shoot, all I have are mushrooms and celery, what could I quickly make with that?

Is there an easy way to make Carbonara?

Been there?

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a cookbook that helps with all that? Also, could we please make it somewhat quick-ish in the kitchen? Oh, and could we please have the awesome sauce of Martha Stewart recipe goodness behind it?

Chocolate Good Enough to Drink

So, today is 12/12/12, and Hot Cocoa Day is actually tomorrow. However, I’m rolling with it today. Come on, don’t you want hot cocoa every day? Ahem…

Of course I have my own hot chocolate recipe, and some others I dream of trying. Hot cocoa (chocolate, whatever) is a funny thing. I personally like mine about the consistency of liquid chocolate. But kids, that means I only drink about 4-6 ounces. It’s no gigantor cup. Because then I would be sick. And as big as a house. Too much of even a (really) good thing is just too much. If you’re only drinking the good stuff, you won’t need to drink a lot of it to be satisfied. It’s that good, baby.
